Do Natural and Home Remedies actually work?

Do Natural and Home Remedies actually work?

As a separate and mostly alternate branch of medicine, natural remedies have their fair share of incredulity and many people just don’t believe that any of them work. They are, at least in a sense, right about this. Many home or diy remedies work differently for every person, always depending on factors like health conditions, hereditary conditions, willingness, how much you try to make them work, if you are doing all of the steps correctly and if there are no other medicines altercating or impeding them from working.

I, myself thought that all these remedies offered were useless nonsense and that I should just go to my doctor and ask them what I should do. To my surprise, when I brought up all the things I had heard about remedies I could be trying at home for myself, some doctors agreed that it could work and that I should try it. Of course I had nothing to lose so I tried it and it worked just fine. A good amount of my problems were skin conditions and the inability to focus on whatever I was doing and I had a friend that just kept reminding me of all the crazy and weird things she did at home for stuff like that so that she would not have to buy any of the expensive medicines.

A good amount of my problems were skin conditions and the inability to focus on whatever I was doing and I had a friend that just kept reminding me of all the crazy and weird things she did at home for stuff like that so that she would not have to buy any of the expensive medicines.

The first one she recommended was Aloe Vera for many of my skin complications. At first, hearing that my plant could be very useful to me I was delighted but stills skeptical. It was not until I tried it that all my questions and distrust dissipated and now I have to admit I always use it.

Another great thing has to be mint or the smell of mint for my focus. I eat mints or smell mint while working and last hours typing and fixing a million things without losing concentration! My memory is even better because of it. Now, I have to say I also know of people that have tried this and it has not worked as well, so we go back to the original question. Do they really work?

The answer is, no matter the situation or person, yes. These little remedies and every day things we can use with ease do work because of tested and known effects that each of them has. The thing that makes us think that they do not work is because we do not see results right away like with remedies such as alcohol on stinky feet or lipstick for cuts.

These kinds of things sometimes work right away but in other occasions take very long to do anything at all. Summarizing my thoughts, it is all different but it works and you just have to try different things and see which one works best for you. For example my friend says that toothpaste and alcohol works best for her skin conditions and not aloe vera. People and their bodies are different. All you need to do if you are trying any of these is see which one you are most comfortable with and try to make it work. Never expect it to do miracles, but it will indeed work just fine.
